I've started to realize that you can't really have a true appreciation for YouTube until you cover the D-League and cover players who often spent their college careers outside of the mainstream conscious.
As we mentioned earlier in the day, Parrish West - the 2011 Division II National Player of the Year - wasn't at the Wizards opening practice of training camp, but was expected to arrive in Bismarck this morning. He was quite the resume, having led the nation in scoring at D2 Alaska-Fairbanks this past season, scoring over 27 points per game. While browsing the interwebs, I found this video of the 6-foot-5 guard being interviewed by local media after learning the Wizards had drafted him. So until we get the chance to see West on the court in action, enjoy this interview.
